Kito Tenkundo Yukinoshita Incense

A traditional incense from the ancient samurai capital of Kamakura, Yukinoshita (Under the Snow) features the rich and elegant fragrance of the finest aloeswood. It was in the Yukinoshita district of Kamakura where the samurai first established their own unique culture at their center of Japan’s political affairs. Upon leaving the secular world and freed from their political duties, the samurai would often enjoy the mysterious fragrance of aloeswood as they contemplated the eternal moment. Yukinoshita blends the aloeswood enjoyed by the samurai into a rich and noble fragrance in honor of the ancient samurai capital.

Yukinoshita's box makes a wonderful gift, with its stunning iridescent blue damask cloth covering not done justice by the product photo.
