Carefully selected by region of natural origin, these fragrant woods (koboku) are presented as close to their natural form as possible, highlighting the five classic tastes of sweet, sour, salty, bitter and spicy within the wood itself. Beautifully presented in washi paper tubes displayed in Paulonian wood boxes, the incense in this series make exceptional gifts.
