Handed down from generation to generation of incense masters at Kokando, Sennenkō is a well-known traditional incense that has been loved since its release in 1907. As an incense line highlighting the rich warmth of clove, Sennenkō has several variations including blends with aloeswood, sandalwood, and nearly a dozen Eastern and Western aromatics finely balanced with a spicy clove top note. The package illustration, which has been utilized since its release over a century ago, depicts a scene from a bygone Edo marketplace of a store selling incense, yet remains lifelike and relevant in today’s modern world.
